The first "Bologna for Belize" fundraiser was held January 7 at the home of Rich and Natalie Tinsley and also hosted by Kevin and Kristy Greenwood. Everyone had a great time, enjoyed the fun and friendship. Kevin and Kristy leave January 15 for Belize and because of the generosity of those attending, will be able to plumbing and more to the home they're building for Hadiya Bevins, her children and elderly mother.

More than $6,000 has been raised for this event and we're keeping the attached donation page open until the end of the month!

Please join the Greenwood's and Tinsley's in supporting all of the programs of Hand in Hand Ministries. Click Here to donate now

The eighth annual Legacy Breakfast was held in Louisville, Kentucky at The Olmsted. Once again nearly 400 friends and supporters joined many new faces in celebrating the accomplishments of Hand in Hand. Arelys, a young Hand in Hand Scholarship student, travelled from Nicaragua to thank those attending for giving her a chance she would never otherwise have at a better life. Connie came from Appalachia to talk about how much more Hand in Hand has meant to her. Their stories left all attending with a new appreciation of how Hand in Hand makes a difference in the world.

How To Donate

How to Donate

If you'd like Hand in Hand Ministries to be able to continue serving the people you've read about, there are several ways to donate: cash, check or Master Card, Visa and American Express. Of course, cash donations should be made in person and not sent through the mail. You may also donate by simply clicking the Donate Now button located on each page of our site. All transactions are safe and secure.

If there is a Kroger in your area, Kroger offers rechargeable gift cards for use in their stores. When you add to the balance of these cards, a percentage is donated to Hand In Hand Ministries. Please contact our office if you are interested in obtaining one of these cards.

You may also donate by having regular monthly payments made from your bank account. For more information, please call 502-459-9930.

We do not share our donor list with any other organizations.

The Legacy Society
Hand in Hand Ministries is working for systemic change and has made a long-term commitment to those whom it serves. We welcome all gifts no matter how small or how often, but if you have the means, the best way to help is to join our Legacy Society. Legacy Society members pledge $1,000, $5,000 or $10,000 a year for five years and receive special recognition. Legacy Society pledges ensure that Hand in Hand Ministries can sustain its service for many years to come.

Gifts in Kind
Donations of appliances, furniture, school supplies, food, medical supplies and other items may be delivered to the rear of our home office during regular business hours. If you are from outside the Louisville area, or have a large item such as an appliance to donate, please call our office to make arrangements.

Most gifts-in-kind are distributed in Appalachia according to need. Gifts destined for overseas locations are hand-carried by trip volunteers due to the high cost of shipping.
